Expanding the wide range of services, Nuremberg Hospital has founded its own flight ambulance services — Air Ambulance Service — for medical escort and attendance for regular and intensive-care patients. The complete spectrum of patient transport will be organised and accompanied in ambulance, scheduled flights or ambulance jets. The high standard of medical equipment allows even transport of intubated and artificially respirated patients.

State of the Art medical Care on highest Level

The medical crew of Nuremberg Hospital has long-term experience in air ambulance services and airline escorts. Experience in intensive-care and emergency medical care, advanced training and aeronautic medical safety training are a regular part of our quality management. As and when required, our young patients may be escorted and attended by our pediatric intensive-care specialists.

Highest Standard Equipment for Intensive-care Patients

Our medical equipment is really a state of the art tool and meets the latest medical intensive-care requirements. We are able to arrange medical diagnostics on highest level. As and when required, the option for following therapeutical measures is given:

  • non-invasive pacemake therapy
  • defibrillation
  • intubation
  • blood analysis
  • non-invasive and invasive taking of blood pressure

Safety is our predominant principle. All aircrafts are equipped according to safety instructions for industrial business operation (JAR-OPS 1) and are continuously maintained and serviced by well-established certified German Aircraft Dockyards in professional manner, meeting all valid standards.

Depending on flight destination and according to your requirements, we are able to offer you the most conveniently equipped aircraft at most favourable terms.

We dispose of following aircrafts:
  • Beechcraft Super King Air 200 for one intensive-care patient with artificial respiration
  • Learjet 35A for one patient with artificial respiration or two patients in stable condition
  • Learjet 55 for one patient with artificial respiration and one patient in stable condition
  • Challenger 600 for two intensive-care patients with artificial respiration
